Degis is the first insurance protocol built on Avalanche. They offer insurance for real life flight delays as well as insurance against token price drops.

They are now having their testnet event and are offering 350k of their native token $DEG as rewards. 300k will be given to testnet participants and 50k will be given to users offering suggestions and reporting bugs, The testnet event will end at 12:00 am UTC, December 20, 2021.

Function Checklist (300k $DEG rewards in total)
(Remarks: The validity of each address will be checked by the team, there is no need to submit addresses for checking.)

Getting started:

You will need to connect to Avalanche Fuji Testnet on your wallet. You can have it added at https://chainlist.org/.

Then get some testnet $AVAX from the faucet at https://faucet.avax-test.network/.

Visit https://www.degis.io/#/protection. Connect your wallet and get testnet $USDC at the top of the site. Get around 100000 $USDC to speed up the process.

Function 1. Miserable flight — — buy insurance

Not possible to complete this task at the moment due to data issues. Will need to wait for updates from the team.

Function 2. Miserable flight — — provide liquidity

Go to “Provide” under “Miserable Flight”. Input your amount and deposit.

Function 3. Naughty price — — create and redeem insurance token

Go to “Create” under “Naughty Price”. We create the insurance token AVAX100H2112 using $USDC. (You can create any insurance token.)

We redeem some of our insurance token.

Function 4. Naughty price — — buy and sell insurance token

Go to “Buy/Sell” and buy some insurance token.

We sell some of our insurance token.

Function 5. Naughty price — — provide liquidity to swap pool

Go to “Provide” and provide liquidity to your insurance tokens.

Function 6. Mining — — mine in the miserable flight pool

Go to “Mining”. Choose “The Miserable Flight Pool” and deposit your LPT.

Function 7. Mining — — mine in one the the naughty price pools

Find the mining pool with your insurance token you just created/bought in Function 3 and 4. Deposit your LPT.

Harvest after you have at least 10 $DEG in rewards.

Function 8. Mining — — mine in the buyer incentive pool

Now deposit your BuyerToken also in the Buyer Incentive pool.

Function 9. Lucky box — — buy a lucky box ticket

Go to “Lucky Box”. Make sure you have at least 10 $DEG, choose your number and buy a ticket.

Function 10. Lucky box — — redeem a lucky box ticket

Finally redeem your ticket.

That’s all for the testnet.

You can also provide suggestions and report bugs to the team for a share of the 50k $DEG rewards.

Details are as follows:

Any suggestion or bug submitted during the test will be rewarded. Once the team adopts the proposal, 10–100 $DEG will be awarded according to the quality of the submitted content. If multiple users submit the same or similar content, only the first one will get rewards.

Besides, users who submit high-quality suggestions or serious bugs can be whitelisted in IDO events.
