We go through DeFi Options Vaults projects that don’t have a token. We have done the same for DEX Aggregator, Bridges and Borrowing Aggregators previously.
DeFi Options Vaults (DOVs) allow users to earn higher yields by automating options strategies. The options strategies used are mainly covered call and put selling. Options are sold for premiums to be injected back into the vault as additional yield. Read here for more information on DOVs.
Here are some of the DOV projects that have not launched a token yet. Using their mainnet/testnet might offer a chance for their airdrops in the future.
Chest Finance (Solana Mainnet)
Covered in a previous article. Their vaults use the covered call strategy. You can deposit either $SOL or $mSOL.
Tap Finance (Solana Mainnet)
Another options vault project live on Solana mainnet. Their vaults use the put selling strategy. You will need to deposit $USDC.
Katana (Solana Mainnet)
Also covered in a previous article. Their vaults use the covered call strategy.
Thetanuts (BSC/ETH/AVAX/FTM/AURORA Mainnet)
https://www.thetanuts.finance/
Options vaults on multiple EVM chains. Their vaults use both the covered call and put selling strategy.
Arrow Markets (AVAX Testnet)
https://fuji-beta.arrow.markets/
Options vaults to be released later. Right now you can experience their testnet by buying and selling options.
To get started, switch your network to AVAX Fuji Testnet and get your testnet AVAX from https://faucet.avax-test.network/.
Go to https://fuji-beta.arrow.markets/ and get some testnet USDC from their faucet “+” and accept the disclaimer.
Buy an option by choosing your forecasted price, target/expiration date and investment amount. Arrow markets will automatically pick an option with a strike price that fits your criteria.
Go to “PORTFOLIO” and “SELL” if you want to sell your call options.
Confirm your transaction.
